Discovery

Content Focused Community Structure

In order to utilize the existing inventory of contents and stratigically construct the information architecture , we defined their content types. We discovered that the community had four distinctive categories and these categories were the opportunity to expand the MuseBouche community. There was a clear path way towards our goal to let users participate and engage in sharing culture.

Wireframes

Communication Tools with Community Members

Depending on the type of content, users will go through four different input experiences. Each experiences share the interaction design principle, not only for the cohesiveness but the user’s familiarity to that pattern. The published contents are currated by the user’s culture and are displayed in a grid layout to mimic a newspaper for a sit-back-and-read feel.

Aesthetics

Visual Strategy for Multiple-User-Generated Content

To produce a culinary mood, we styled the interface to have an organic, textured look. MuseBouche expressed their identity with orange as accent color and subtle organic paper texture that is inspired by herbs and spices.

Photography played a significant role in displaying the authenticity of the site. Articles are required to have a photos to be featured in the homepage.

Conclusion

To polish the details, we connected with MuseBouche in-house developers and conducted a visual and interaction QA session. From checking the media query, responsive design, and follow through with real contents, our dynamic teamwork was able to accomplish the launch by the deadline.
